Lignin character and use: diffuse-porous wood. Air-dry density is about 1.07-1.11g/cm³, with heavy weight and high intensity, anticorrosive and anti-termite, obvious discrimination in lignin-hue between the core and margin. The lignin core is brown or light chocolate, which generally with belt-shaped stripes, the lignin margin is oyster white and the growth ring is slightly obvious. The lumber is lustrous. The wet lignin has some smell or the odor resembles to vanilla, but the lumber has no special smell and with the wax or oil sense, really interlocked structure, thin and slightly even structure.
